Regional Headquarters of the Party of Progress and Socialism
This site presents the local branch, its activity and the way to join it. It also publishes official election figures and the legal texts that frame political and electoral life.
The party
The branch belongs to the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS). The party publishes its communiqués, programmes and positions on its official website, and its two newspapers, Al Bayane and Bayane Al Yaoum.
The legal framework
In Morocco, political parties are governed by the organic law 29.11. It sets out how a party is founded, how citizens join it, how it is organised and how it is financed. Joining is free from the age of 18, nobody may belong to two parties at the same time, and a member may leave whenever they wish.
