Who is responsible for your data
Regional Headquarters of the Party of Progress and Socialism runs this website and decides why and how your personal data is used (the "controller").
For any question about your data: You can reach us from the Contact page.
What we collect
- When you only browse: nothing beyond a technical cookie (see the Cookies page). We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- When you ask to join: full name, national ID number, date of birth, phone number, city, and if you wish gender, email, address, profession and a short message. We also keep the date you gave your consent, the declarations you ticked, and a fingerprint (hash) of your internet address, used only to stop abuse. The address itself is not kept.
- When you are a member: your member number, the date you joined, your status, and what you add yourself in your profile (photo, short presentation, contact details). We record the date of your last sign-in.
- When you are on the team: your responsibilities in the branch.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your data to review your membership request, to keep the register of members, to contact you about the branch's activity, to check the legal conditions of membership, and to organise the branch's work. We use it for nothing else.
Belonging to a political party reveals political opinions, which the law protects as sensitive data. We therefore process it only with your express consent, given when you tick the consent box, and only about applicants and members of the branch. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Who can see it
Only the members of the branch team who need it for their task, under their own sign-in. We do not sell your data and do not pass it to advertisers. It may be shared with the party's competent bodies where the party's statutes provide for it, and with the authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Membership requests that are not accepted are deleted within 12 months.
- Members' data is kept while the membership lasts.
- When you leave, we erase your personal file on your request, except what the law obliges us to keep.
How we protect it
Passwords are stored in a form that cannot be read back. Access to the registers is limited to authorised team members. Repeated failed sign-ins are slowed down. Profile photos are re-encoded and stored under random names.
Your rights
To use these rights, write to us: You can reach us from the Contact page.. You may also complain to the CNDP (www.cndp.ma).
- Access: ask what data we hold about you.
- Rectification: correct what is wrong or outdated. Members can correct most of their details themselves in their space.
- Opposition and erasure: object to the use of your data, or ask us to erase it, where the law allows.
- Withdrawal of consent: at any time, by leaving the party or by writing to us.
Minors
Membership is open from the age of 18. The site is not meant to collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
